Youth Group

All teens in grades 8-12 are invited to be part of the St. Malachy Youth Group. We do a variety of spiritual, service, social, and athletic activities. For more information, please contact Steve Swank in the Parish Office.

Laser Tag

Teens in Grades 8-12 are invited to play laser tag on Monday, February 20 (Presidents Day – no school). Cost is $6 for one game, $11 for two, $15 for three, and $19 for four. The sign-up deadline is February 15. To sign up, please contact Steve Swank in the Parish Office.

What is Youth Ministry?

Youth Ministry has three goals:

** EMPOWERMENT

To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

** PARTICIPATION

To draw them to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.

** GROWTH

To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

There are eight components of Youth Ministry:

1) Advocacy

3) Community Life
4) Evangelization
5) Justice, Peace, and Service
6) Leadership Development
7) Pastoral Care
8) Prayer and Worship
