Youth Group

All teens in high school (grades 9-12) are invited and encouraged to be part of the St. Malachy Youth Group. We do a variety of spiritual, service, social, and athletic activities. Join us!

What is Youth Ministry?

Youth Ministry has three goals:

** EMPOWERMENT

To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

** PARTICIPATION

To draw them to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.

** GROWTH

To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

There are eight components of Youth Ministry:

1) Advocacy
2) Catechesis
3) Community Life
4) Evangelization
5) Justice, Peace, and Service
6) Leadership Development
7) Pastoral Care
8) Prayer and Worship

After School Program

Come hang out on Wednesdays and enjoy games, food, friends, and fellowship! The program continues this Wednesday, March 10 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the St. John of God Youth Center. Super Scavanger Hunt

Attention 8th Graders! You are invited to participate in the first annual “Super Scavenger Hunt” on Sunday, March 21 from 6:00 to 7:15 PM. Think you can solve the clues and win the hunt?
