At the Last Supper after Jesus and his apostles had eat at the table, he humbled himself to was their feet as a model and example that they in turn would imitate and follow.  For over 2,000 years, his followers have answered the call to pass on his love and story.

As we enter the third millennium, we are blessed to receive the gift of faith.  We are responsible to transmit the gift of faith to future generations.  As a Catholic Community of faith at Saint Malachy, we are charged and commissioned to witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ through our words, our thoughts, and our actions.  We are to reflect his "Good News" to others.  The mosaic of the Christian community is reflected in the "light" of each single member who graces this sacred place.  God blesses each person with unique talents and gifts.  It is our baptismal call to share these gifts with others.
