Liturgical Ministries

Art & Environment Team

The team prepares the worship space in a way to enhance the liturgy throughout the year.

Acolytes

Acolytes are boys or girls between grades 4 and 12 who fulfill the role of altar server.

Extraordinary Ministers

Extraordinary Ministers assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass, to the Homebound after 8:00 AM Sunday Mass, the hospitalized at Ohio Valley General Hospital, and/or on other special occasions.

Lectors

Lectors read from Scriptures during Mass on Sundays, weekdays, and other liturgical occasions.

Sacristans

The sacristans maintain the order of the sacristy and the inventory of supplies for liturgical services.

Ushers

The ushers assist in seating people, taking the collection, and providing for special needs at Mass.
