Bereavement Support

Ministry of Consolation

Our parish will begin support sessions for individuals who are experiencing grief through the death of a loved one.  The Church calls each member of Christ’s Body to participate in the ministry of consolation: to care for the dying, to pray for the dead, to comfort all who mourn. Our Lord is the example of comfort and support to the grieving. Bereavement Sessions

Bereavement sessions for those experiencing grief through the death of a loved one are offered at our parish twice a year in February and September.  If you have any questions, please contact Sister Jolenta at 412.771.5483 or via our online contact form.  Anyone interested in a session outside of these times should also contact Sr. Jolenta.
